Rai visits Abdin and Qanyour, stresses need to protect the land

Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai visited on Friday the towns of Abdin and Qanyour in Bsharri where crowds of people gathered to welcome him.

The first stop was at the town of Qanyour where he stressed the need “to protect and hold on to our land since it is the identity that defines the believers.”

In Abdin, Rai was welcomed by the town’s residents and then headed to St. Saba Church where he headed a celebratory mass.
