REPORT: Youssef Mokdad released in exchange of 13 members from Arsal

Following efforts exerted by the residents of Arsal, the Lebanese citizen Youssef Mokdad was released on Sunday in exchange of 13 abducted persons from Arsal by the Al-Mokdad clan.
The exchange of Youssef Mokdad with 13 other kidnapped persons took place on Sunday in the Ras Baalbek Intelligence Bureau.

Mokdad was received by the Mayor of Arsal Ali Hjari who stressed on the importance of ending the series of abductions.

In turn, Mokdad said he was beaten while he had been held in the Syrian region of Sahel Rankous, and thanked all the Sheikhs in the Syrian town of Flita for contributing to his release.
