Sejaan Azzi to LBCI: We will not compromise on Myriam Achkar's blood

Kataeb party leader VP Sejaan Azzi said on Friday that, according to certain information, the Lebanese embassy and Syrian apparatuses are seeking to revive the Lebanese-Syrian convention in order to hand over the murderer, who killed Myriam Achkar, to Syria.

Azzi confirmed on Nharkom Said TV show that the state will not bow to the Syrian blackmail.

"In case the state succumbed to the Syrian blackmail it will be thereby encouraging the citizens to revenge and to take justice in their own hands,” he added.

Azzi refused to “compromise on Myriam Achkar’s blood”, and said that he is certain that neither the cabinet nor the justice ministry will hand over the murderer to Syria.
