Berri warns of the "Iraqization" of Lebanon

House Speaker Nabih Berri warned on Wednesday of the “Iraqization” of Lebanon, and considered that this plan will not be implemented regardless of the circumstances.

Speaking in reference to the many security breaches occurring in the country, Berri said that the critical situation overshadowing Lebanon requires more attention, calling for halting the disruption of the state’s institutions.

In this regards, Berri expressed his shock at parliamentary blocs boycotting legislative sessions, stressing that “parliament’s work doubles when a cabinet resigns.”

Berri’s word came after the Wednesday periodic meeting.
