Red Cross transports one wounded in alleged chemical attack to Jibjineen hospital

The Lebanese Red Cross transported on Friday one wounded Syrian national in Syria’s alleged chemical attack to a Jibjineen hospital in Lebanon's Bekaa valley.

The Operations Director for the Lebanese Red Cross George Kettaneh told LBCI that tests results will show whether Sarine gas is detected in the victims bloodstream.

However the boy, who is said to be 15 years of age, escaped prior to receiving the needed medical examinations that would've determined whether or not toxic chemicals were present in his system.

Syrian anti-government activists accused President Bashar Assad's regime of carrying out an attack on Wednesday using toxic gas and have reported death tolls ranging from 136 to 1,300.
