Geagea: Hezbollah military intervention in Syria deteriorates Lebanon's economy

Lebanese Forces party leader Samir Geagea asserted on Saturday that the Baabda Declaration is the solution for the establishment of an "effective Lebanese state."

Geagea noted that as long as Hezbollah "is military involved in the Syria conflict, tourists will not flock into the country and the economic situation will further deteriorate."

On the occasion of the anniversary of the assassination of President Bachir Gemayel, Geagea said that the Lebanese state which Bachir Gemayel died for "is not established yet."
