President Sleiman holds several meetings, tackles preparations for NY conference

President Michel Sleiman held a meeting on Friday at the Baabda Palace with Future Bloc MPs Bahia Hariri and Hadi Hobeish with talks featuring high on the political and governmental developments as well as consultations being held to form the new government, the state-run National News Agency reported.

President Sleiman also held a meeting with the head of the economic bodies, former Minister Adnan Kassar whereby they tackled the economic situation and preparations for the conference to be held in New York on the 25th of September.

Following the meeting, former minister Kassar highlighted the importance of Sleiman's role throughout the current circumstances, urging all Lebanese political parties to support the state and to strengthen its constitutional bodies.
