MP Fatfat says cabinet formation pending return of President Sleiman from NY

Future bloc MP Ahmad Fatfat accused Hezbollah on Thursday of posing a threat to other parties, noting that some political stances are being issued intimidatingly.

In a phone interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, MP Fatfat said the formation of a new government is pending the return of President Michel Sleiman from New York, adding that Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam is holding on to his stances while refusing the blocking third.

"Salam is the only one capable of forming a new cabinet now," Fatfat said.

Separately, MP Fatfat said that National Struggle Front leader MP Walid Jumblatt was behind the 8-8-8 governmental formula, noting that he seeks his political interest and is afraid of any confrontation with Hezbollah.
