Jumblatt: Hezbollah’s arms are only to defend Lebanon
The head of the National Struggle Front MP Walid Jumlatt considered that the argument between General Secretary of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and former PM Saad Hariri will not lead the country to safe grounds.

During a press conference Jumblatt said “What’s happening in Lebanon and around us and in Syria could make the issue of the STL secondary if there was strife in Lebanon” “I don’t think that Hezbollah would interfere in internal struggles.

Its arms are only aimed at defending Lebanon.” Jumblatt commented on the head of the Syrian Transitional Council Burhan Ghalyoun last statements after visiting a group of the Free Syrian Army saying “This Army should only protect the peaceful demonstrations and nothing else than that “.

Jumblatt called on the resident on Jabal al-Arab in Syria not to get involved in the sectarian clashes or the killings in Syria as they will be negatively affected.

This conference coincided with the commemoration of the late Kamal Jumblatt’s birthday. Jumblatt visited his father’s tomb and laid down a red rose.
