Sleiman receives letter from Obama on the occasion of Eid al-Adha

President Michel Sleiman received Sunday a letter from his US counterpart Barack Obama whereby he extended his congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha holiday, stressing that thousands of American Muslims will head for the holy city of Mecca for the annual hajj pilgrimage.

In his letter, Obama stressed that religious and social diversity must not constitute an obstacle that harms the humanitarian values.
