Aoun: session participation to be decided on Wednesday

The Head of the Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun said that the bloc decide on Wednesday whether or not to participate in the cabinet’s session.

Following the bloc’s weekly meeting, Aoun denied that MP Sleiman Franjieh is mediating between the Change and Reform bloc and the Premier, adding that if Berri cannot hold them together then he is at fault.

Aoun thanked Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s remarks depicting the bloc’s demands as legitimate and calling on PM Mikati to settle them. “We are on good terms and these words were not a mere compliment”, Aoun said.

Aoun emphasized that the time is not right to look into the issue of Hezbollah’s weapons.
