MP Alain Aoun to LBCI: Radical Takfiri groups are threatening all religions in Syria

Change and Reform bloc member MP Alain Aoun stressed on Sunday that Christians in Lebanon are "a good example" for the Christian community in the Orient, noting that the Free Patriotic Movement is concerned about the situation of Christians mainly in Syria.

In an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, MP Aoun said that Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun voices his concern over the situation of Christians in Lebanon and the region, adding that "he is the most powerful Christian leader in the country".

MP Aoun also said that MP Michel Aoun is set to deliver an "important" speech today whereby he will tackle the situation of Christians.

"Radical Takfiri groups are threatening all religions in Syria. We reject the presence of al-Nusra Front and Daesh since they will affect the whole region," Aoun added.
