Khalil: Unified medical prescription mandatory as of April

Health Minister Ali Hassan Khalil said that the ministry is determined to implement the comprehensive health coverage project.

On launching the doctors’ unified medical prescription, Khalil said that it would possibly allow control of drug prescriptions, thus limiting the dangers of drug use.

In a press conference he held at the Doctor's House (Bayt al-Tabib), Khalil revealed that the unified medical prescription would become mandatory beginning April 2012.
