MP Dib to LBCI: Authorities must defend citizens of Tripoli

Member of the Change and Reform bloc MP Hekmat Dib said Wednesday that the situation in the northern city of Tripoli is witnessing further deterioration, calling on the military and political authorities to defend the citizens.

In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Dib noted that his parliamentary bloc has asked caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati to adopt a dissociation policy toward the war in Syria, not the events in Tripoli.
