Jumblatt: Tripoli’s leaders determined to destroy the city

The head of the Progressive Socialist Party MP Walid Jumblatt said Monday that the majority of the Tripoli’s leaderships are insisting and determined to destroy the northern city.

In his weekly statement to al-Anbaa website, Jumblatt noted that what proves his remarks is that these officials and leaders are not taking the necessary actions in order to change the status quo.

He added that the gunmen and all those who are continuously violating security are still enjoying political cover and financial support, stressing the need to end the ongoing fighting and chaos.
