Geagea criticizes parties violating Lebanon’s constitution

Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea said on Tuesday that the current transitional stage should pave the way for another phase during which the Arab world becomes more humanitarian, democratic, just and free.

On the occasion of the World Day for Human Rights, Geagea criticized those violating the Lebanese constitution, pointing out that they did not only target the foundations of the democratic life in Lebanon, but are also interfering in the Syrian crisis.

“Sixty-five years following the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Syrian people are still struggling to be granted their most basic rights,” Geagea said.
