Bishop Audi: The Lebanese haven't learned that divergence will lead to destruction

Metropolitan bishop of the Greek Orthodox Church for the Archdiocese Elias Audi said during a commemorative mass marking the 8th anniversary of the assassination of MP Gebran Tueni on Thursday, that the people's right to freedom of expression and a dignified living has been transformed into empty statements in a country where residents areunder the threat of murder, threats and injustice.

"The Lebanese have not learned from the years of war that the divergence between parties of the nation will drag it to destruction," he said.
