MP Jumblatt urges all parties to support LAF soldiers

          
Head of the Progressive Socialist Party MP Walid Jumblatt said on Monday “it’s the responsibility of all Lebanese factions to support Lebanese Armed Forces soldiers against terrorism, and facilitate their tasks in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli.”        

MP Jumblatt urged all Lebanese parties to support LAF troops deployed in all Lebanese territories, praising the efforts exerted by these soldiers to face any Israeli threat.          

Jumblatt said in his weekly stance to the Al-Anbaa newspaper “it is obvious that what we previously warned of has become true,” pointing out that LAF soldiers are always the target, and soldiers are being killed in order to maintain security and stability.            

In this regard, MP Jumblatt called for supporting LAF soldiers and facilitating their duties, “especially that these soldiers are implementing their duties in critical and difficult moments.”     

On another note, MP Jumblatt said “it is shameful that humanitarian organizations that were working to help the Syrian refugees forgot about them in the bitter cold and the bad weather that Lebanon witnessed last week, although LAF were ready to provide logistic assistance in a bid to help these organizations reach the refugees.”              

Regarding the Syrian crisis, MP Jumblatt said “the so-called friends of Syria along with the Syrian regime should bear the responsibility of the current situation in Syria.”
