MP Aoun meets Patriarch Rai, discusses electoral law

Head of the Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun stressed the importance of exerting efforts to reach consensus among Christians and among all Lebanese citizens.

Following a meeting with Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai at the patriarchal residence in Bkerke on Monday, MP Aoun noted that “leaders should unite and consult one another in order to elect a good president for Lebanon.”

MP Aoun also mentioned that he discussed with Patriarch Rai various dossiers including that of the electoral law.
