Rai: Man should become one with God

Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai said in his Christmas address that this holiday is about the nativity scene, the star and the tree. Christmas is an opportunity to be reminded of the day God’s word became embodied in a man and calls on us to renew our faith.

“Oh how we need God’s love to inhabit our hearts on Christmas, a love that will enrich our human sentiments, especially in parliament, so we would live peace and harmony”, Rai said.

Rai stressed that man should become one with God in a partnership based on love.
