Sources to LBCI: MP Aoun to tackle situation of Christians with Vatican's officials

Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun headed on Sunday to Rome where he is set to meet several officials.

This as sources told LBCI that MP Aoun will tackle with Vatican's officials the situation of Christians in  Lebanon, mainly the presidential elections and the necessity to avoid presidential void.

Same sources asserted that the MP Aoun will brief the officials in Rome over his stances pertaining to the latest developments in the Middle East and ways to preserve Lebanon's stability amid the bloodshed taking place in neighboring Syria.

Lebanese leaders are sharply divided over various political issues, such as the formation of a new government, the electoral law that would govern the upcoming parliamentary elections, the presidential elections and the Syrian civil war.
