Gemayel stresses need to form a cabinet capable of performing its duties

The leader of the Kataeb party declared Sunday that his party will not approve any cabinet, but a cabinet capable of performing its duties, noting that they will have a positive position once a proposition is presented.

During a press conference held in Bekfayya, Gemayel stressed that he is holding contacts with former PM Saad Hariri and President Michel Sleiman in order to reach a cabinet that satisfy all the parties and meet the needs of the citizens.

“The new cabinet will perform defined missions for a short period of time in preparation for the presidential elections,” he said, stressing that they are seeking the triumph of Lebanon, not the triumph of one party over another.
