Italy’s FM Bonino holds several meetings with Lebanon officials, tackles Syrian refugee dossier
Italian Foreign Minister Emma Bonino visited on Wednesday the Presidential Palace where she discussed with President Michel Sleiman the preparations for the conference to be hosted by Rome on the 5th of March in order to support the Lebanese Army.

Bonino also headed to Ain el-Tineh where she held a meeting with Speaker Nabih Berri with talks featuring high on the local and regional developments as well as the work of the UNIFIL in Southern Lebanon.

Also on Wednesday, Bonino met with caretaker Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour and discussed the illegal immigration dossier, the Syrian refugee issue and the impact of the Syrian situation on the Middle East and the world.
