Former minister Najjar to LBCI: Women are not less competent than men

Former Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar said that women are not less competent and effective than men,” stressing that the number of female ministers must larger in the government.

In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Najjar said that the domestic violence draft law was referred to the cabinet within 24 hours where agreement was reached over the controversial points, noting that after the draft law was sent to the Parliament, it was referred to a subcommittee where it remains pending.
