Attempt to smuggle narcotic pills thwarted at Tripoli's prison

The state-run national News Agency reported on Wednesday that Security Forces at Tripoli's jail confiscated a number of prohibited items inside the prison.

The agency added that the Security Forces also thwarted an attempt by a woman to smuggle 200 Benzhexol narcotic pills into the prison.

The pills were hidden at the bottom of a bag.

The woman and the pills were referred to the anti-drug bureau in the North to launch investigations in this regard.

This as the security forces confiscated during their inspection ten mobile phones and a number of knives that were made within the jail.
