Charbel: Ghosn’s words were misunderstood

The Minister of Interior Marwan Charbel denied any contradictions between the security forces especially on Al-Qaeda presence in Lebanon, adding that the words of the Defense Minister were taken out of context and misunderstood as he did not confirm the presence of al-Qaeda militants in Lebanon but said that the Lebanese border is a transit passage just like the Syrian-Iraqi border.

Asked about Tyre blast, Charbel told Voice of Lebanon radio station that the investigations led to certain evidences and hoped that the perpetrators will be arrested soon.
