Kidnapped Akkar woman freed in Tripoli
Kidnapped Sawsan Abdel Haq was released on Saturday and taken to the Information Branch.

On Friday, the state-run National News Agency reported that Sawsan Abdel Haq has been kidnapped while en route to the coastal city of Tripoli.

Sawsan Abdel Haq, 43,  hails from the town of Hayzouq in Akkar, was abducted while on her way to the al-Rahma Dispensary in Tripoli's Bab al-Tabbaneh,” the agency added.

The kidnappers contacted her family and asked for a ransom.

Details of her release are yet to be known.
