Former Minister Rizk to LBCI: Presence of lawmakers at Parliament is essential but non-obligatory
Former Minister Edmond Rizk said the presence of lawmakers at the parliamentary sessions is non-obligatory, noting however that it is a national requirement that demonstrates their sense of responsibility.

In an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV show, Rizk said Lebanon’s administrations lack legitimacy on several fronts, noting that deputies are required to restore the democratic system and revive the parliament's work.
