Sports agent Sama denies Tele Liban had acquired rights to broadcast World Cup

Sama, the sole agent of BeIN Sports in Lebanon, denied to LBCI reports that Tele Liban had acquired the rights to broadcast the 2014 World Cup.

This comes as Tele Liban, Lebanon's state sponsored television channel, is inching closer toward broadcasting the World Cup this summer, according to reports.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup will be the 20th FIFA World Cup, scheduled to take place in Brazil from 12 June to 13 July 2014.

Brazil will be hosting the competition for the second time, the previous being in 1950.
