Association of LU full-time professors to strike June 5-6
The association of the Lebanese University full-time professors announced on Thursday that a strike will be held on June 5 and 6 to push for approving the appointment of deans and contract professors.

The association also said it will hold further contacts with all the concerned authorities, hoping that this file will be settled.

In the same regard, the association expressed surprise at the Financial Prosecutor's interference in the dossier, causing dismay among the members of the Educational Body.

The Lebanese University contract professors have been on a continuous sit-in, calling for their full-employment at the university.

The professors said their movement will not end unless the parliament meets their demands, stressing that they will be taking escalatory measures.
