Mikati heads meeting for comprehensive economic plan

Prime Minister Najib Mikati held a meeting Saturday at the Grand Serail with economic issues at its core.

Present at the meeting was Trade and Economy Minister Nicholas Nahhas and a number of economists.

Reports stated that an all-inclusive plan would be revealed in the near future.

Mikati and Nahhas also reviewed means of activating the work of the department for the protection of the consumer for further control on quality of goods, particularly food products.
