Riyad Salameh: Failure to elect new president to affect economic growth
Lebanon's Central Bank Governor Riyad Salameh stressed Monday that the failure to elect a new president will negatively affect the economic growth in the country.

Salameh pointed out that Lebanon currently needs initiatives that include carrying out reforms, dealing with the social crisis, passing a new clear and detailed budget, developing the infrastructure and launching exploration process for oil and gas.

In this regard, Salameh said that the Central Bank will continue its normal work in accordance with the Monetary and Credit Law, stressing that the exchanged rate of the Lebanese Pound will remain unchanged.
