PSP official to LBCI: Dialogue is inevitable, outcome not guaranteed

Progressive Socialist Party Secretary General Zafer Nasser said Thursday that his party has been in contact with both the Amal Movement and the Future bloc in order to reactivate the work of public institutions, noting that dialogue is inevitable, but the outcome is not guaranteed.

In statement to LBCI’s Nhrakom Said, Nasser pointed out that dialogue is the basis of every approach toward a solution, calling on all the parties to communicate with each other.

On the issue of the Lebanese University, Nasser said that the PSP, as any other political party, has the right to present suggestions concerning the appointment of the university’s deans, stressing the need to separate the issue of administrative appointments at the Lebanese University from that of full-time employment in public sectors.
