In this regard, the teachers stressed that the LU dossier is "a national matter," voicing their rejection to political intervention in any file pertaining to the Lebanese University.
LU contract professors have been on a continuous sit-in, calling for permanent tenure at the university.
The professors said their movement will not end unless the Parliament meets their demands, stressing that they will be taking escalatory measures.
