Social Affairs Minister says 'all options to protect Lebanon on table'
Social Affairs Minister Rashid Derbass said on Monday that all options to protect Lebanon are currently being considered, including the closure of the country's borders.

Derbass' statement was made following a ministerial meeting held at the Grand Serail to tackle the Syrian refugee crisis.

Lebanon, an overburdened and under-resourced country, has been grappling with the rising influx of Syrian refugees, as well as the presence of the already existing Palestinian refugees.

With no solution in sight, the country continues to bear the brunt of the conflict in neighboring Syria. No official camps have been founded thus far.
