US ambassador Hale meets PM Salam, pledges urgent aid for LAF

Prime Minister Tammam Salam is currently meeting with US ambassador to Lebanon David Hale at the Grand Serail in the presence of National Defense Minister Samir Moqbel.

Talks are featuring high on the incidents that took place in the northeastern border town of Arsal as well as the US assistance to Lebanon.

In this regard, ambassador Hale told Salam and Moqbel that the Lebanese Armed Forces will be provided with urgent military assistance in the next few weeks.
