Four persons confess to killing Lebanese journalist Mazen Diab -police

Four persons confessed to killing Lebanese journalist Mazen Diab who resides in Jordan, citing personal disputes between the victim and one of the detainees.

“It was revealed that the detainee had identified Diab as he was presenting his program and disputes flared up between them,” the Jordanian police said, noting that the criminal asked three of his friends to help him kill the journalist.

Earlier, the police said in a statement that four persons suspected of being accomplices in the murder were arrested, adding that the body of Diab was found inside his residence in the capital Amman on Friday night.
