Follow-up committee of displaced persons stages sit-in in Baddawi

The follow-up committee for the affairs of Palestinians who were displaced from Syrian camps staged on Friday a sit-in in Baddawi.

Protesters hoisted banners calling on the UNRWA to give them the assistance they need in order to face the repercussions of their displacement from Syria.

They also sent a letter to the Director-General of UNRWA in Lebanon, asking him to implement a comprehensive contingency plan which allows them to live in dignity.
