Three suspects arrested on charges of sexually assaulting minors

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces said Wednesday it arrested three Lebanese citizens on charges of theft and drug abuse.

Following interrogations, the detainees confessed that they had stolen a number of mobile phones and traded them for quantities of hash in the Beddawi refugee camp.

They also admitted to having sexually assaulted a number of minors, a statement issued by the ISF’s Division of Public Relations said.

The detainees were identified by their initials as A. H. (1992), S. A. (1968) and A. H. (1996), and were referred to the concerned authorities for further interrogation under the supervision of the concerned judiciary.
