On Monday October 20, Al-Nusra Front released a video depicting Lebanese Armed Forces soldier Omar Khaled Chamtiyeh declaring his "defection" from the army to join the al-Qaeda-linked group.
Al-Nusra Front had earlier released a similar video of LAF soldier Mohammad Antar who hails from the al-Zaharieh region in the northern city of Tripoli, announcing his defection from the army.
