Israeli defense minister signals more Lebanon strikes, calls current attacks “just the beginning”
Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a series of warnings to Lebanon, saying the Lebanese government risks losing control over its territory until it fulfills the fundamental obligation of disarming Hezbollah.
Katz said Lebanon “will pay a heavy price” and promised that Israel would escalate attacks on infrastructure linked to the group.
He added that “our strikes in Lebanon are only the beginning,” signaling a potential intensification of military operations in the country.
