MP Jumblatt apprehensive regarding on situation of Druze in Syria

Democratic Gathering Leader MP Walid Jumblatt voiced apprehension on Monday regarding the situation of the Druze in Syria amid the calamities that have been rocking the Syrian nation.

In his weekly statement to al-Anbaa website, Jumblatt asked the Druze of the Syrian Mount of Houran to take a decisive decision regarding their situation in the country.

"The sons of the Arab Druze sect should consider all the givens and head towards a comprehensive reconciliation with the rebels of Houran, Knaitra, and Daraa in a bid to shun the traps that are being incessantly set by the regime."

Jumblatt said it had become apparent that the Syrian regime cared less about religion and sects, sparing no effort to pit them against one another in a bid to give the regime the upper hand.
