PM Salam kicks off official visit to Dubai, says cabinet will not rest until hostages are released

Prime Minister Tammam Salam arrived Monday to Dubai, with his accompanying delegation in a two-day visit, where he is set to meet with senior officials and delegations from the Lebanese community in the United Arab Emirates.

Upon his arrival, Salam was welcomed by Emirati Government Minister Abdallah Ghabbash, Lebanese Education Minister Elias Bou Saab, Lebanon’s Ambassador to the UAE Hassan Saad, Consul General of Lebanon in Dubai Sami Nmeir and Lebanon's Consul in Abu Dhabi Hadi Hashem.

PM Salam had reiterated that his cabinet will not rest until the Lebanese troops are released, stressing that the negotiations conducted in this regard are complicated and will take time before a solution is reached.
