Illegal vendors block roads with burning tires in Tripoli
Vendors cut-off roads in Lebanon’s northern city of Tripoli on Tuesday to protest a decision by the municipality to remove their carts.

“The vendors blocked al-Qobbeh and Majlaya road with burning tires to protest the decision,” the state-run National News Agency reported.

North Lebanon's Governor Ramzi Nohra and Internal Security Forces (ISF) commander in Tripoli, Brigadier General Bassam al-Ayoubi, supervised the removal of the illegal kiosks, carts and stands on sidewalks.
