Health Minister Wael Abou Faour referred Friday to the Central Inspection, the assessment reports prepared by the Health Ministry inspectors concerning the Beirut International Airport and Beirut and Tripoli ports.
The reports revealed blatant violations to the requirements in goods and food storage, as well as in maintenance, ventilation and hygiene.
In this context, Abou Faour called on the Central Inspection administration to assign the concern authorities to launch the needed investigations and impose legal sanctions against all those responsible for this neglect, stressing the need to take the necessary measures to improve the situation in order to preserve the safety of the citizens.
