Head of the National Struggle Front, MP Walid Jumblatt denounced Monday the terrorist attack that targeted a bus transporting Lebanese pilgrims in the Syrian capital Damascus, noting that any act targeting innocent civilians is rejected by all means.
On Sunday, a bomb tore apart a bus thought to be carrying Lebanese Shiite Muslim pilgrims in Damascus, killing and wounding several people in a rare attack at the center of the Syrian capital.
On a separate note and in his weekly statement to al-Anbaa website, Jumblatt pointed out that he is closely following up on the projects which may harm Beirut’s Pine Forest (Horch Beirut), stressing that the project aiming at changing the location of the municipal stadium currently located in Tariq al-Jdideh will lead to the loss of large green spaces.
On another note, MP Jumblatt called for taking advantage of the drop in fuel prices to rehabilitate power plants across Lebanon.
