March 14 Secretary General, former MP Fares Souaid stated on Saturday that the political situation had changed in Lebanon since 2005 due to the regional circumstances, stressing that the international concern is currently focused on the presence of Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
Considering that Hezbollah is no longer a Lebanese party, but part of the Iranian Revolution Guard, Souaid told LBCI’s Nharkom Said that coexistence is threatened in Lebanon, pointing out that Lebanese citizens no longer have common concerns.
“The absence of a president plays a major role on coexistence in Lebanon,” Souaid stated, adding that the Future-Hezbollah dialogue is that of the necessity.
