LF MP Zahra to LBCI: Priority is to reach an understanding over a new electoral law

Lebanese Forces MP Antoine Zahra said on Tuesday that the current top priority is to reach an understanding over a new electoral law.

Zahra’s comments were made during a phone call with Nharkom Said TV show in which he said that lawmakers are also working on drafting an electoral law that allows Lebanese migrants to cast their votes.

Last year, Lebanese lawmakers extended their mandate for the second time, citing security reasons behind the move.
