Gemayel discusses with Paoli general situation; heads to Mexico

Former Kataeb Chief, Amin Gemayel received on Wednesday French Ambassador to Lebanon, Patrice Paoli, in a farewell visit with discussions featuring high on the general governmental, political and military situations in the country.

During the meeting held at Gemayel’s residence in Bekfaya, the two stressed the need to devote attention to the situation at the Lebanese border as well as support the Lebanese Army in its mission to repel dangers that threaten Lebanon’s stability and security.

Following the meeting, Gemayel left Beirut, heading to Mexico where he will participate in the annual conference of the Union of Democratic Centrist Parties.
