Retired Brigadier General Georges Nader to LBCI: Vacuum affects army’s readiness but not its unity
Former Special Forces Regiment Commander retired Brigadier General Georges Nader saluted on Saturday all Lebanese army soldiers that are "facing Israel and terrorism," adding that Lebanon would not have existed without the army.

Nader’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show whereby he stressed that politics must not interfere in the work of the Lebanese army.

He also noted that the vacuum at the country's top posts has yielded negative repercussions of the readiness of the army but not on its unity.
